From neo-Nazis to the Liberal Party: How we can fight the right

What to expect

Nazis have been marching in Melbourne, publicly promoting their vile racism and transphobia. While they perform Hitler salutes in the streets, the far right have been successfully shutting down LGBTQI events run by local councils.

Their extreme views aren’t an abberation that can be ignored. They are part of a growing trend around the world, and are fed by the right-wing politics of elected politicians like Liberal leader Peter Dutton and state MP Moira Deeming.

This public forum will discuss the state of today’s new far-right movements and the strategies we need to stop them. All anti-fascists welcome.
