The strength of our movement comes from the energy and commitment of our members and volunteers.

Unlike parties that serve the interests of Australia's wealthy elite, we'll never be able to rely on funding from big corporations and the billionaire class to get our message out through paid advertising (hello Clive Palmer if you're reading this). The way we build support for socialist politics, both at election time and outside it, is primarily by getting out there and talking to people!

There are a wide range of activities you can participate in as a VS volunteer - from letterboxing or door knocking in your local area, to handing out our how to vote cards on polling days, to the day to day work of organising meetings and ringing around supporters.
