Pro abortion, counter rally against the far right "march for the babies"
Every year, Bernie Finn, a right wing bigot and Western Metro Legislative Councillor organises a mass march in Melbourne calling for the winding back of abortion rights.
The recent overturning of Roe v Wade in the US has given sexist bigots everywhere a boost. We need to challenge their movement on the streets, stop them gaining a bigger foothold in Australia, and defend our hard won rights.
We also need to demand an expansion of reproductive services so that abortion is not only legal but free and genuinely accessible for anybody who wants it. Come out on October 8 to counter the far right march and their 'pro-life' lies. Send a clear message that Victoria is a pro-choice state.
