Olympic Village Community Meeting and March

Banyule Council are proposing to close the pool at the Olympic Village Leisure Centre.
A community meeting has been called to discuss the issue, which will be followed by a march.

What to expect

The West Heidelberg area is chronically neglected by Banyule Council. After running down the leisure centre for many years, they are now trying to ram through a decision to permanently close the pool.

The community is opposed to the closure, and a rally is being organised for Monday night 6pm Heidelberg Town Hall outside the council meeting where the decision will be voted on.
