Liam Kruger

I'm Liam Kruger, Victorian Socialists candidate for the Southern Metro upper house region.

As with everyone involved in Victorian Socialists, I'm not a career politician looking for a big paycheck and cushy job, but an activist and fighter for the rights of workers and the oppressed. I would use the position not to suck up to the bosses or make deals with the right-wing government, but to argue for radical and progressive change.

Since becoming involved with Victorian Socialists, I have taken part in actions for the rights of refugees, the fight for climate justice, the right to abortion, and every other left-wing issue in our state.

With capitalism breaking out into crisis regarding the cost of living, pandemic, and climate, we have to take this chance to build a serious and radical alternative to the status quo.

So get involved, and come November, vote 1 Victorian Socialists.
